Learn R With Me

Intro to R for Data Viz

I remember learning to code in R.

I wasn't sure where to start, and I had a lot of questions.

I'd seen the cool things R could do, but I needed support.

I kept running into errors and finding complex, technical articles that didn't really answer my question.

Learning to code can feel isolating and frustrating. Don't do it alone!

Join Intro to R for Data Viz.

Over five modules, you'll learn how to:

  • install R and RStudio so you're ready to code.
  • build a graph to convey your results in an engaging way.
  • process data so it's ready for analysis and graphing.
  • load data so you can create insights from your own data.
  • refine and customize a graph to improve your data communication.

This online program will include video trainings, documentation, and code samples.

Hi! I'm Jenn! I'm so glad you're here!

I love data and telling compelling stories with data! I've been working with data and learning how to create impactful data visualizations for over ten years. I spend most of my time analyzing data and creating visualizations in the programming language R.

I also have teaching experience - I earned a certificate in secondary education and taught middle schoolers and then graduate students. Plus, I've run professional development workshops and trainings.

Now, I'm taking everything I know about data visualization, telling stories with data, coding, and effective teaching, and turning it into easy-to-follow courses that will guide you through the process of creating your own insightful data visualizations. I can't wait to get started and see the impact you'll make!
